New Narrow Gauge Lift Takes Shape

After years of planning, the new Narrow Gauge lift is under construction. Thanks to Bill Shepherd's hard work, skills, abilities and dedication, the pad for the lift was poured on Monday. Here are some pics of the pour.

With Bill as the supervisor, Gary Conely, Ken Eells, Brendon Hilton & Tom Arnold assisted with the pour.

Bill finished the job of course and for a very professional look.

Concrete is down!

During the next few days, Bill will begin the block work that will serve as retaining walls and plan the steps that will provide access to the track yard. More progress is expected in the next few weeks as Three Companies will be out to start laying track and fill the block cells with cement.
